Chi Chicken

We tried this new hotpot place for my birthday. Unfortunately, there was no special birthday treat or acknowledgment, which was a bit disappointing. The chicken broth was fresh and flavorful, and the service was attentive. However, the meal was expensive—98 just for the broth for four people, and with side dishes and toppings, the bill came to around 300. The sauce bar wasn’t worth the extra charge, with very limited options. Unless they offer an all-you-can-eat menu or adjust their pricing, we probably won’t be back.

Very nice place that does a lighter style hotpot very well (without all the oil in the broth) We got the coconut chicken option and it was delicious. The chicken was so tender and well cooked. The ingredients were fresh and good quality. It is, however, definitely on the pricy side. Pretty much everything you see in the pictures was around 200 total after tax/tip for 3 people, and we were not that full afterwards. So if you’re looking for a special treat hotpot, I think it’s definitely a good place with great food and nice staff.

Extraordinary service. 花胶鸡 is always the best, It’s great fresh ingredients. The base reminds me of my grandmother’s cooking, warm, health, and delicious. Very friendly servers a place full of love and laughs. Especially love the JJ songs in store.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chi Chicken, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The staff jerry and xi were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our needs were met without being intrusive. The highlight, of course, was the food. We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was more delicious than the last. The chicken was perfectly cooked just in 3 minutes – tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Overall, Chi Chicken exceeded all my expectations.Will definitely come back.

I recently visited Chi Chicken in NYC and had an amazing experience! The chicken in coconut soup was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The food was served quickly, which made it an ideal spot for a satisfying and speedy meal. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone craving flavorful comfort food. I'll be back for sure!

They gave out free Zongzi for Dragon Boat Festival!! (4 flavor options w jasmine aroma and it was decent!) Coconut chicken here makes me feel like home the baby chicken is so tender and the coconut broth is so flavorful and hearty. We also loved the rice noodle (surprisingly the best rice noodle I’ve had in New York) as it has wok hey/smokey flavor) they also have all the authentic coconut chicken sauce options (scallion ginger, lime, lemon sauce, etc.) highly rec!!!!

I recently visited this Chi Chicken restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. Firstly, the restaurant's ambiance is very comfortable, with a fresh and natural decor that makes you feel relaxed. The waitstaff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The highlight of the meal was definitely the coconut chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy, rich without being too heavy. The soup, made with fresh coconut, had a natural sweetness that perfectly complemented the chicken. The side dishes were also abundant, with a variety of fresh vegetables that were both healthy and delicious. Additionally, the restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, not just the classic coconut chicken. Huajiao flavor is also highly recommended. The prices are very reasonable, offering great value for money. Overall, this is a highly recommended Chi Chicken restaurant. Whether for a family dinner or a gathering with friends, it's an excellent choice. I will definitely visit again!

Amazing broth and food, definitely would come back! The place is a bit unconventional. They have set combos that include the broth type and a bunch of ingredients. We got the chicken combo and it also came with a whole plate of chicken. We typically don’t eat chicken at hot pot but between all the other options this was the best choice. Plenty of a la carte options to pick more items and good sauce station too. Service was attentive and great, and the place is big enough where it doesn’t feel crowded. Only downside is I wish they had more combos or other smaller-sized options to choose from. We had four people and our one combo was still a lot. But given the broth is truly outstanding - more than most other hot pot places - I’ll let this one slide! Highly recommend giving this place a try!
